Workshops

Uncountable types of worships are available at most of the
destinations.  Just give us an idea about the area you may
have interest and the destination chosen and we will do the rest.
The following is an interesting sample for people that want to combine an unforgettable trip combined with their passion:
    Painting.

    Summary (Sample)

This is only an outline showing what is possible. The program is completely flexible. A detailed summary will always be
supplied after the necessary e-mail correspondence to establish the Guest's preferences.

    Painting Vacations

A workshop is an opportunity to try approaches and painting techniques that you have never tried before.
Approach the workshop with an open mind. There is no point in simply painting the way you have always painted in a
workshop. Make up your mind beforehand that you are not going to take home some pretty pictures. What you are going to
take home are some new ideas, some gems, for possibly creating new work.
Try the approaches you saw the instructor use in the demonstrations. They may not work the first time but try again.
Watercolor artists have to be patient, and persistent. Lots of practice in the key. Painting is like a sport. The more you practice,
    the better you become.

Our Workshop Vacations are about the best tours, with a group of world famous artists as your tutors. All the travel
arrangements will be taken care of, so all you have to do is turn up and paint. Our tours will give you all the care and attention
you deserve - no one is ever left out - and our professional tour manager accompanying the tour will be on hand to ensure
everything runs smoothly. Read the descriptions to work out the best tutor for you. Most of our tours cater for artists of all
levels of ability and non-painting partners are welcome - they'll find plenty to do.

    Day 1
    Massa Marittima, Tuscany
Workshop members will be met at Pisa airport at midday and be transferred by private coach to the small hilltop village of
Massa Marittima, located in the heart of Tuscany. Workshop members will come together over welcome drinks and an
included workshop dinner on arrival in Massa Marittima, whilst Tom explains what can be expected from the coming days of
    painting.

    Day 2
    Massa Marittima, Tuscany
After breakfast Tom will lead the group with his first painting demonstration in the village, close to the hotel. He then will help
Workshop members with their own paintings. Valuable critique sessions will be held in the hotel every few days. Lunch will
be at leisure, and a delicious full dinner will be taken each evening in Massa Marittima.

    Day 3
    Massa Marittima, Tuscany
After breakfast we will set off for Piombino to join a fast ferry service to the Island of Elba, in the Gulf of Genova. We will visit
the villa where Napoleon Bonaparte was held in exile and explore some of the small villages as we take a tour of the island.
There will be time for a leisurely lunch and ample time to sketch the scenery.

    Day 4
    Massa Marittima, Tuscany
Tom will find a great painting location in this small ancient town in which the Town Hall, the Archeological Museum and the
Picture Gallery all border the Town Square. He will show you how to tackle a good subject and will give you persona
attention as you paint and sketch throughout the day. A critique session will be held late in the afternoon.

    Day 5
    Siena, Tuscany
Following breakfast, a private coach will transfer workshop members to the town of Siena, our workshop base for the
remainder of the workshop. Siena is one of Italy's best-preserved medieval towns, and home of ÔThe Palio de Siena', one of
the worlds most famous horse races. Offering stunning terracotta cityscapes and an abundance of twisting stone alleyways,
Siena will surely offer workshop members an abundance of inspiration.

    Day 6
    Siena, Tuscany
Following breakfast a local guide will escort the group on an informative and enjoyable tour through the enchanting alleyways
of Siena. Today's tour will take in some spec-tacular sites, including the Piazza Del Campo, the Duomo, and the Palazzo
Publico. The afternoon will be spent painting under the guidance of Tom Lynch.

    Day 7
    Siena, Tuscany
After breakfast the workshop takes members through the rolling Tuscan countryside to the hill town of San Gimignano for a
day of painting. The town commands a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside and has a fabulous square, a very
impressive church, interesting buildings, fine restaurants and inviting shops. There are countless superb subjects that will keep
you painting all day. The workshop will return to Siena in the late afternoon.

    Day 8
    Siena, Tuscany
Our final workshop day in Siena. Tom will paint a demonstration and then assist workshop members with their individual
work. There will be a critique session before an included farewell dinner.

    Day 9
    Departure
Unless you're continuing with other Workshop, it's time to say, 'Ciao!' (informal goodbye) or 'Arrivederci' (formal). After
breakfast departing Workshop members will be driven in comfort to Pisa airport to join mid-afternoon return flights.
