We are quite sure that you just might have a difficult time taking some decisions. Its a Safari like no other..... An adventure not to be missed. Walking..... You must be able to walk miles unassisted, have the ability to climb on and off a camel, in and out of Safari overland trucks, Safari mini vans and Matatu's (share taxi). The Pace..... We spend several nights in Nairobi, enjoying the sites and night life. These are the same places where a great number of people come for the night life. And several days traveling overland to remote locations like Maralal, into the heart of the northern frontier, Samburu country. Summary..... Here you go on the camel and walking safari, spending days in the bush with only our Samburu Moran's to guide and protect us. . On completion of the safari we return to Nairobi for the next part of the adventure. The next morning at 0800 hrs we are off for a short trip traveling just 95 km from Nairobi. This day offers an exciting day of white-water rafting thrills (and often spills). We return to Nairobi by around 1800 hrs. In the night back to the party, and the local night hot spots. The next night we catch our train and head for the coast. We party all night on the Lunatic Express (night train to Mombasa) on our way from Nairobi to Mombasa. In Mombasa we enjoy the sun and beaches during the day. The nights bring us back to the night spots to party the night away once again. Tsavo East for game viewing for several days. Visit "Man Eaters Junction" where the lions feasted on the men building the railroad. (Movie "Ghost and the Darkness"). We fly back to Nairobi, on the last night to celebrate our farewell dinner, it is time to say goodbye to your safari mates because the party is over. The next day you catch your flight back home. Active sightseeing..... Cross the equator, travel overland in small vehicles and on foot. Most of your time will be spent in the great outdoors. You will venture on foot across the unspoiled plains of the true northern frontier district in Kenya. Interact with your Samburu "Moran" guides, visits villages and local peoples, track and view game. A white-water day adventure where the river Tana offers an exciting day of white-water rafting thrills and often spills. View the abundant birdlife that inhabits the lush riverside forest bordering the banks of the river. While in Nairobi and Mombasa you will visit the haunts of the expatriates, adventurers and mercenaries. Eat with the locals, enjoy Tusker , Nyama Choma, Ugalli and salad at the Kenyatta Market. Visit Mombasa and Fort Jesus the gateway to East Africa for more than 400 years. Enjoy the festivities of "The Florida club" where expatriates, British colonials, adventurers, mercenaries, travelers and sailors have enjoyed the night life for more than a hundred years. Ride the Lunatic Express, the railroad that they said could not be built and is going fast to nowhere. Visit first hand the very grounds where man-eating lions stalked the men who built the railroad. All this and so much more, and maybe even new adventures that we have not discovered yet. Transportation..... We will travel by Matatu ( local transportation) Wazungu ( White Man) tourist vans, open safari trucks, on foot, by air, train and camel. Early Mornings.....? Who knows what time we will arise, sometimes before 6AM and other times we will sleep in late. As we have said before, each Safari is different and no two ever follow the same schedule. The Rules..... (1) If you have an attitude problem you leave it at home, (2) If you cant hold your liquor and keep a cool tool, we don't want you (3) You play hard with your safari mates, and watch out for each other. (4) Have a great time, and enjoy the adventure. (5) No abusive behavior towards any fellow traveler or the local population. Any person who violates these rules will be expelled from the safari party, there are no exceptions. You will be left to fend for yourselves, and there will be no refund for unused portions of the safari. Come and join us, for a truth lifetime adventure.
