    Summary

    Route: Livingstone to Cape Town

    Day 1/2
    At Livingstone we start with a highlight - the mighty Zambezi River plunging over Victoria Falls. Optional activities galore at
    this adventure capital of Southern Africa.

    Day 3/4
    Crossing into Botswana we visit Chobe National Park with its large population of Elephants.

    Day 5
    Drive along the Caprivi strip.

    Day 6/7
    Into the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve. Mokoros (dug-out canoes) take us deep into the delta with its abundant
    wildlife and excellent game viewing.

    Day 8/9
    Cross into Namibia and head west towards Etosha National Park.

    Day 10/11
    Etosha, dominated by a huge saltpan, is one of the gems of Namibia and Southern Africa. Staying at two camps, Namutoni
    and Okuakuejo lets us see every aspect of this superb park - animals even come to
    waterholes right in the camp!

    Day 12
    Down towards the Skeleton Coast, we come to Twyfelfontein with its rich collection of rock engravings and a petrified forest
    nearby.

    Day 13
    Further south we visit the Spitzkoppe rocks forming an elongated ridge that protrudes from the arid landscape.

    Day 14/15
    Further down the coast is the Germanic town of Swakopmund, a bizarre contrast to the arid hinterland.

    Day 16
    Next is Sesriem, on the edge of the Namib Desert,and the massive Sossusvlei sand dunes, said to be the highest in the
    world.

    Day 17/18
    The spectacular Fish River Canyon comes as a surprise as it drops away beneath our feet and provides some breathtaking
    views.

    Day 19
    A short drive brings us to the South African border and the Orange River.

    Day 20
    We visit Stellenbosch with its world famous vineyards, an opportunity to not only sample the wine but also to see the contrast
    between this country and those to the north.

    Day 21
    Finally we roll into busy Cape Town dominated by Table Mountain and the waves rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean.
